Franz Amann, born in 1973 in Feldkirch/Vorarlberg, Austria, currently lives and works in Vienna. He studied Philosophy and Art History at the University of Vienna (AT). 2000-2004 he visited the Academy of Fine Arts (Renèe Green, Marina Grzinic) in Vienna (AT). 2011 he received the BMUKK studio scholarship in Beijing (CN). 2012 he participated in the Artist in Residence programme in Soart, Millstätter See (AT). 2014 he received the Land Vorarlberg studio scholarship in Bilbao (ES).
