Marian Weger was born in Nürnberg, but lives in Graz, where is working as a musician and audio-visual artist. Coming from classical and jazz music, his focus lies mainly in experimental electronic music. Furthermore he is is working on immersive media installations and interactive sound and projection design for theatre performances. He assisted in many projects by Winfried Ritsch, shown at Steirischer Herbst, Ars Electronica Festival and Wien Modern and contributed the Sound Design to "Cosi fan tutte", staged at MUMUTH/Graz and Deutsche Oper Berlin in 2013. For the open-source software project "Extended View Toolkit", Marian Weger gave Workshops at universities, such as BU Weimar, ZHdK Zürich and Univ. of Florida. In 2012 the project was invited for a residency at WORM Rotterdam. From 2012 to 2014, the State of Styria provided him a work studio in Graz.
