Paula Muhr is a visual artist and researcher based in Berlin, Germany. She studied photography and comparative literature in Belgrade, Serbia, and completed her graduate studies at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Art History and Visual Studies of the Humboldt University in Berlin. Her work has been shown internationally in a number of solo and group exhibitions, i.e. at the Fotogalerie Wien, the Kunsthalle der Sparkasse Leipzig, the Museum auf Abruf (MUSA) in Vienna, the GRASSI Museum in Leipzig, the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes in Tenerife, the Centre national de l’audiovisuel in Luxembourg, the Triennale di Milano, the Musee d’Art moderne et d’Art contemporain, Liege, Belgium and the Shenzhen Fine Art Institute in China.
