Spideralex is a sociologist, PhD in social economy and a researcher on ICT for the public good. She is also an hacktivist involved in the development of technological sovereignty initiatives and a cyberfeminist studying the relationship between gender and ICT.

Editor of two volumes about technological sovereignty initiatives that she has developed with members of the Calafou's community. She has recently edited with Sophie Toupin a special issue on "Radical Feminist Storytelling and Speculative Fiction: Creating new worlds by re-imagining hacking".
She enjoys doing holistic security and speculative fiction workshops (feminists futurotopias) with women and feminists around the world.
