Lives and works in the UK. Studied at the University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz, the University of Applied Arts Vienna and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. Obtained a PhD from the University of Reading. Since 1989 lecturer and senior lecturer at various universities: University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Wimbledon School of Art in London and the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford. Visiting artist at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, Central Saint Martins Summer School, UAL, Royal Academy of Arts School in London, etc. Has exhibited internationally since 1981.
