Masahiko Takeda, born 1987 in Kyoto a Kyoto-based sound artist. Graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Commerce, and has completed Central Saint Martins, Couture Tailoring. With the background of the closure of his family's Nishijin textile business called "Oohi no Kurotomo", he creates works in a wide range of fields, including sound installations, performing arts, contemporary art, and traditional crafts, through the perspective of inheriting the remaining materials, techniques, and history.
