How can shared moments be woven together from invisible threads? Drawing on the history of his family’s now-closed Nishijin textile factory in Kyoto, Masahiko Takeda understands “weaving” not as a craft but as an ephemeral practice of connecting—people, sounds, and scents. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, an open space emerges in which sound and scent unfold together.
