Antti Kytömäki is a Helsinki-based multidisciplinary visual artist and musician. He is known for spatial sculptures and installations that combine movement and sound with industrial materials. He studied composition at the Turku Conservatory and earned his master’s degree from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts.

Kytömäki’s kinetic works invite an encounter between art and technology, thereby creating sensory experiences for viewers. Kytömäki pays close attention to the rhythms and processes of everyday environments, observing the choreographies of movement and the emotional atmosphere that define human living spaces and nature. Based on these observations of real life, Kytömäki’s works are characterized by syncopated rearrangements.

With understated humor, Kytömäki shifts rhythms and draws attention to the unspectacular, the unnoticed, and the overlooked. Repetition and circular movements are recurring themes that translate questions of perception, time, memory, and the planetary into affective sculptural gestures.

His exhibition history includes the group exhibition “Experiments in Concretism” at EMMA (Espoo Museum of Modern Art) and the solo exhibition “Night Flight” at Galerie Sinne in Helsinki. His works are included in collections in Finland and abroad.
