Amy Karle
Amy Karle is a future-inspired Artist fascinated by technology's impact on humanity. She creates new, hybridized forms of art, fusing ultra-contemporary fine art with biotech and digital culture. Her work can be seen as artifacts of a speculative future where physical, computational, and biological systems merge. In the process of making the artwork, Karle utilizes the actual technological tools in question. Projects probe who we could become through exponential technologies and how interventions could alter the course of the future.
Karle has exhibited worldwide including at Ars Electronica, Centre Pompidou, FILE Festival, Media Arts Biennale, Mori Art Museum, Smithsonian, and the blockchain. She was named one of BBC’s top 100 most inspiring and influential women in the world, Most Influential Women in 3D Printing, and was an Artist Diplomat through the U.S. Department of State.
