Angelika Fojtuch was born in 1978, lives and works in Gdynia, Poland and Düsseldorf, Germany.

In 2005 she received a Diploma of the Department of Sculpture and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts, Gdańsk. 1998 / 2005 A.M. study at Academies of Fine Arts: Toruń, Kraków, Gdańsk, Poznań. Since 2015 she is a member of Internationale Künstler Gremium (IKG). 2013-2016 she candidated for PhD at the University of Arts, Poznań. 2011-2013 she was teaching assistant at Intermedia Department of Academy of Fine Arts, Gdańsk. In 2006 she was founder of PORT PERFORMANCE – International Forum for Performance Art.

In 2013 she participated in an International Scholarship of the City of Mönchengladbach and Wilberz-Stiftung. 2007/2012 she studied at The Adam Mickiewicz Institute. In 2004 she graduated at The Culture Foundation of Poland. In 2003 in Gdansk she received the City Award for Young Artists
as well as the City Scholarship.
