Annette Baldauf

Anette Baldauf is professor for epistemology and methodology at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna; together with Renate Lorenz and Moira Hille she supervises the graduate student program PhD in Practice. Until 2005 she worked at the New School for Social Research in New York as well as in transdisciplinary research projects in New York and Vienna. During continuous collaborations with artists she examines the interface of space production, economy and gender; she focuses on the relation between critical epistomology and methodology, especially art-based research, qualitative and performing methods of research.

 

Since 2014 she works together with Stefan Gruber, Moira Hille, Annette Krauss, Vladimir Miller, Mara Verlic, Hong-Kai Wang, Julia Wieger and Aras Ozgun at the resaerch project "Spaces of Commoning: Artistic Practices, the Making of Urban Commons and Visions of Change" (WWTF).
