Mag.art. Christian Bachler was born in 1960 in St. Johann in Tirol. He absolved the HTBLV Innsbruck in the sector applied painting and graphic design. 1985 he finished Meisterschule for painting at Ortweinschule Graz with a diploma. 1989 he finished his education the college for music and perfroming art in Graz in the field scenic composition with a diploma and a magistery. In 1988 Bachler was co-founder of RHIZOM and was a member until 2007. Since 1988 he participates in the conception and organisation of international culture and art projects in Krakau, Warschau, Moskau, Schaffhausen, Bogota, Medelin, Mexico City, Toluca, Graz, Wien, Caracas, Berlin, Erfurt, Weimar, St.Pölten, Toronto, Györ and San Antonio/Texas.
