Doris Dockner was born in 1968 in Judenburg, Austria. After she absolved the music School in Salzburg she studied architecture at the TU Graz. Since 1995 she works as a self-employer as well as a co-worker at different architecture offices. Since 1996 she got a lectureship at the TU Graz and participated in different publication-projects, partly in cooperation with Andrea Redi and Elisabeth Krammer. From 1998 to 2002 she has been director of the research center HOLZ.DESIGN.INSTITUT (HDI) for architecture, design and wood technology of the JOANNEUM RESEACH research foundation together with DI Markus Flach and DI Mark Blaschitz SPLITTERWERK. Since 2002 she is a self-employer in the fields “Interior Architecture & Artworks” (engineering office for interior design).
