Florian Hollerweger is currently pursuing a PhD in sound art at the Sonic Arts Research Centre, Queen's University Belfast. Prior to that, he has studied Electrical Engineering/Sound Engineering at the Graz University of Technology and the Graz University of Music and Dramatic Arts. He has realized his master's thesis project 'Periphonic Sound Spatialization in Multi-User Virtual Environments' at the Center for Research in Electronic Art Technology at the University of California Santa Barbara, in collaboration with the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics in Graz. Florian has been working as a sound engineer, programmer, installation artist, writer, lecturer, performer, and composer.
