Giusy Amoroso
Giusy Amoroso is an Italian visual artist based in Berlin who works with digital and physical sculpture, moving images, XR, and immersive media. Her work centers on the question of how life adapts to synthetic environments—through what she calls “Hybrid Anatomies”: speculative organisms in which organic and artificial systems merge into posthuman forms. In addition to her artistic practice, she has contributed to and led visual projects in the fields of electronic music, fashion, and gaming, collaborating with partners such as Nike, Afterlife, Anyma, Riot Games, Harper’s Bazaar, Sony Music, and Cartoon Network. She is the recipient of the Digital Vanguard Award at Videocittà (2022) and has given two TEDx talks on digital culture and aesthetics.
Her work has been presented at venues including the NXT Museum, Printworks London, Videocittà, MIRA, Immersive Tech Week (VR Days), the Amsterdam Dance Event, the CTM Festival, and Pukkelpop, and has been featured in live performances at Coachella and the Red Valley Festival in collaboration with electronic musicians.
