Founded in 1987 by Günther Holler - Schuster, Ronald Walter, Armin Ranner and Martin Behr in Graz. Since 1990 collaborations. Artist collective which works in different media (photography, painting, graphics, installations, film, video ) but also active as an organizer. Collective works with other artists or groups of artists. G.R.A.M. works about deliberately chosen excerpts from the plethora of media imagery, the collective is acting, for “motives of policies of visibility " (Reinhard Braun) and generates a sensual and subversive play with (negative) celebrity, with heroism, pathos, with triumphs and tragedies - not only - moving masses. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, for instance in Los Angeles, Nice, Brussels, Munich, Rotterdam, Zurich, Karlsruhe, Budapest, Vienna and Graz.
