Karla is a media artist, researcher and educator. She graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (Transmedia Art) and from the University of Vienna (Media Science).Since then she has been involved in the planning, programming and making of various art pieces, giving workshops and teaching DIY electronics, smart materials and maker cultures. Her interest and constant pursue for materials and hands-on tinkering brought her to V2_ Rotterdam as a research resident in V2_Lab in 2012, and to teaching at Academies and Universities around Austria.
