Lisi Breuss was born in 1965 in Vorarlberg, currently she lives and works in Vienna. Since 1988 she works as self-employed artist, curator, exhibition designer and cultural mediator. She studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna free graphic under Oswald Oberhuber and received her diploma under Ernst Caramelle in 1988. After that she studied at Reinwartakademie in Leiden and did a course for art education in the Netherlands. Her thesis study in communication design she received under Bazon Brock. Under Dr. Dieter Bogner she received a postgraduate scholarship in museum and exhibition curating. 2000-2001 she has been department manager in the office for cultural mediation and during the years 2003/04 and 2009/11 she worked at KulturKontakt Austria in the fields Management and consultation. Since 2011 she works at KulturKontakt Austria as team manager in the field of art mediation.
