Mir Raggam-Alji

is an artist, filmmaker, and art educator whose addresses anti-racist and queer-feminist issues from a queer, post-migrant perspective. In their artistic, research, and educational practice, Raggam-Alji engages in the critical visualization and analysis of deep-rooted hegemonic, patriarchal, white power relations and the related mechanisms of social marginalization and exclusion. This critical reflection shapes Raggam-Alji’s work and reflects their consistent stance against structural inequality.
Raggam-Alji’s work has been recognized with awards and fellowships such as the Volkswagen Group Fellowship 2024, the lime_lab Prize for Transdisciplinary Radio Play, and the Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
