Pablo Ares is artist, film animator, strip cartoonist and graphic designer. Pablo participated in Grupo de Arte Callejero (GAC) from 1997 to 2005, an urban interventions collective that worked with human rights organizations, trade unions, people's assemblies and similar groups. With them, he worked on numerous exhibitions in spaces ranging from a reclaimed factory to the 2003 Venice Biennale. As a cartoonist, he has published in legendary magazines such as Cerdos & Peces, Fierro and Lápiz Japonés. He has made prize-winning short films, screened at independent festivals.
