She is german privacy activist, internet pioneer and artist with focus on media art. 1984 she founded the art project Art d'Ameublement together with padeluun. 1988 she founded together with Barbara Thoens „Haecksen“, a collaboration of female members of Chaos Computer Club. Since 1989 she works on Mailboxprgramm ZERBERUS and BIONIC-MailBox. She is co-founder and chairwoman of BielefelderFoeBuD e.V.
