Rodrigo Algara Woodhouse, is born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He began his musical studies with classical and jazz guitar at the age of 14 years with private tutors. In the year 2007 he was accepted into the Bachelor of Composition Morelense Center for the Arts, where he studies with professor and composer Mariana Villanueva Conroy. In 2008 he comes to Graz, Austria, where he continues to date studying composition. He take part in various seminars, lectures and classes with renowned composers such as Gerd Kuhr, Klaus Lang, Beat Furrer or Orestis Toufektsis. One of his most important projects was “Austria-Morelos of New Music”, which organizes concerts of contemporary music and discussions about modern composition. One of the activities of the project was the composition of new works to be premiered in the State of Morelos.
