Roland Jankowski
Roland is interested in free software – besides his career als a systems architect and Debian GNU/Linux Sysadmin he is exploring the endlessness of the DIY maker scene and loves to hang around in hackspaces. In 2019, together with Florian Humer and the Willy*Fred house project, he won the Open Commons Linz Innovation Prize - for a series of workshops on the production of fine dust and climate sensors. When dealing with sensors and microcontrollers, another application of these technologies quickly appeared: multicopter, colloquially “drones”.
