Simone Santi Gubini

He studied piano and composition with Valentino Di Bella, Francesco Telli and Edgar Alandia at the Conservatorio Francesco Morlacchi of Perugia, acoustics and electronic music with Giorgio Nottoli and phonetics along with musical theory at the Università degli Studi di Roma, Tor Vergata. He continued his studies, deepening and expanding his knowledge of ancient forms of Byzantine music and fifteenth century techniques of vocal Counterpoint. His musical growth is influenced by several extracurricular experiences, as his various meetings with the German composer Hans Werner Henze.
