Steven Mark Kübler

is a german new media artist and interaction designer based in Vienna with a background in architecture, which shaped his deep understanding of space - how it is perceived, used, or left untouched. Born in 1994 in Tettnang and raised in Markdorf, he began his studies at the Media Academy in Munich before completing a degree in architecture at the University of Innsbruck. During this time, he became active in Innsbruck’s festival and club scene, creating installations, lighting concepts, and spatial interventions for clubs, shops, and pop-up venues. These early experiences laid the groundwork for his site-specific and sensory approach to digital art.

He focuses on the intersection of art, technology, and physical perception.

He creates interactive installations that combine light, sound, movement, and digital interaction into immersive spatial experiences. Rather than bringing the real world into the digital, Kübler’s approach does the opposite - integrating the digital into physical reality, blurring boundaries between virtual and tangible experiences. His works invite people to engage with their surroundings in unexpected and often poetic ways, from staircases to open landscapes. In addition to his interactive installations, Kübler develops real-time generative artworks. These pieces reflect his artistic research and draw inspiration from fluid dynamicssuch as water, lava, and non-Newtonian substances, as well as satellite imagery, outer space, and the concept of anti-gravity. He transforms these natural and cosmic forces into flowing digital compositions. Kübler works independently across both cultural and commercial contexts. His installations appear in museums and galleries, as well as in collaborations with brands.

Recent projects with Oysho, Bitget and Zeekr highlight his ability to connect artistic vision with immersive storytelling in public and commercial spaces.
