The internet has radically reshaped how people connect and organise, enabling everything from global fan communities to political manipulation and worldwide movements like the Arab Spring, Climate Strikes, Black Lives Matter, and MeToo. Social media platforms now hold immense power over public discourse, data, and transparency.

What does this mean for democracy? Our political systems evolve far more slowly than today’s digital social fabric. Will our current democratic systems hold or is it time to rethink democracy, social media, or both?

This exhibition addresses the problems we are facing now, from lost sense of a shared reality, to inequality of power and erosion of democratic values.
