If posthuman identity is such an unstable construct and a fragile, fluid subjectivity, this holds even more true for our perception of time, space, and being.

Akinori Goto’s work *Latency* deconstructs the human form into a flowing stream of data composed of light and particles. *Latency* embodies the “density of change” in that the image does not exist a priori, but is recreated anew at every moment in the fleeting relationship between light and particles. The work reflects the fundamental uncertainty of existence itself: blurred contours emerge from the darkness and appear in a subtle liminality between fact and fiction.
