Parui Cultures

I'm leaving "30 million inhabitants city"Jakarta tomorrow, so I will arrive in tiny cute Vienna on Saturday. Then I will be able to commit to the exhibition. I have rarely internet access here and no computer. I went to a library to use theirs, but a power breakdown deleted what I had done and saved. So here, written on my broken-display phone, I can just give a very rudimentary outline. My project is called 'parui cultures' and is about tiny infrastructures that are self-sustainable and based in Indonesia. Three groups interest me here, one matrilinear, one perma-cultural, one village-scale-based, all embedded in the very modern and internationally connected Indonesian mainstream, no sectarian capsules. I will just show drawings with a small installation. Around 10 drawings printed on silicon and a wood installation.
