Crossing #03
Termine:

I am intrigued by the nature of how things move. Movement and time are very closely connected. I thought if I coult explore ideas of time, it would be possible to discover the essence or secrets of time. So, I started to think or capture what time is. When beams of light strike the spinning circular mesh sculpture, twelve individuals appear walking. They are comprised of different ages, genders, races, and were recorded by Goto at street crossings, in various countries. The motion of their gait was printed out as 3D prints. What emerges are twelve distinct figures, each moving forward. ”Crossing #03” evokes emotional movement and invites the viewer to contemplate the inner movement, of intention and emotion, which is the source of our physical movement.
