The 3-channel video installation IMITATION GAME shows three characters animated by artificial intelligence, all bearing the face of Mir Raggam-Alji. An artist, an influencer, and the AI itself engage in a dialogue about stereotyping, racism, structures of violence, and forms of discrimination that are perpetuated by training data sets, categorizations in image analysis, and deepfake manipulations.

The work reveals how personal entanglements in hegemonic social and technological power structures not only make one's own position ambivalent, but also break down the boundaries between guilt and innocence. It makes visible how identities and responsibilities are intertwined in a complex system of oppression and collaboration.
